modern music history

In 1800s the world accepted western theory(Europe) as a standard theory for everyone, like English in languages which everybody should know to communicate with people from another countries. Thomas Symmes in 1720 developed singing by note, which means the throat is an instrument which has to hit the notes like every other instruments. It had started be popular in church anthems, but later it went worldwide and after many evaluations we have pop stars who also sing by a note for example: Adele. In 19th century the music theory stopped to develop, but what people did with their instruments especially in metal shows that sometimes the sound of instrument and sound style of singing and notes is enough, because there are a lot of people who listen to music to show their style and not for the beatiful pack of notes and this proves that music theory and singing beautifully with hitting the note is not that important as the style of sounds that an artists have. https://study.com/learn/les...

In the first millennium music theory was developing the most in China, Arabic countries and Europe, but music theory which we know these days is theory books mostly from Greece and Europe. China invented Pipa which is sth like the first guitar, because of fredboard and strings, we could say that other instruments with strings are the fathers of guitar, but I think sth can't be the first guitar without the fredboard. In 1028 in Europe established the official form of music theory: Mensural notation which is known to this day and it is thought at music universities and used in classical music to this day. This is the rhytm system and from 1028 there have been only few changes in it. Arabic countries also knew that we have twelve notes in one chromatic scale, so we can state that the fact we have 12 notes in scale an invention formed by scolars form Greece, but the real differences of sounds which makes music good to listen. pipa-

History of music theory. Today I have learned about the first music notes. First instruments(flutes) we can notice in the prehistory for example. First notes we can see in Mezopothamia, but this are mainly lists of intervals and tunings and the songs are not very extensive, well sounding and suitable to music theory. We can notice that also in India, China and a little bit later in Arabic countries, but at this time in Greece the real birth of music is taking a place. First professors of music invented a notation, scales, rhytms and types of compositions which we use till today. One of the music theorist is Phytagoras and a lot of books are created which tells us about the harmonic rhytms and mathematic in music, but also wonder about what music really is and reflecting on music philosophically. https://www.oxfordbibliographies.com/display/document/obo-9780199757824/obo-9780199757824-0199.xml https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhrwvgIr2F-ClpkoexcLq_8pf-hSh-bMykLdV_HA0...
